Kathryn Beaumont at 13 voiced Alice in “Alice in Wonderland” and did so again for “Kingdom Hearts” at age 64 Kathryn Beaumont (born 27 June 1938) is an English actress, singer, and school teacher who was born in London. She is best known for providing the voices of both Alice in Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and Wendy in Disney’s Peter Pan. Walt Disney personally cast Beaumont after seeing the film On an Island with You, in which child actress Beaumont had a small role. Beaumont has also reprised her voice acting role as Alice in two episodes of the animated series, Disney’s House of Mouse.
Alice in Wonderland is a 1951 American animated fantasy-adventure film produced by Walt Disney Productions and based primarily on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with a few additional elements from Through the Looking-Glass. The 13th in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series, the film was released in New York City and London on July 26, 1951. The film features the voices of Kathryn Beaumont (who would later voice Wendy Darling in the 1953 Disney film Peter Pan) as Alice, and Ed Wynn as the Mad Hatter.
